On inspection, Hubby the handy man and builder type member of the family, is not happy with the Ark shape. He has convinced me (reluctantly) that the Ark should be the same shape at the front and back. At the moment mine is square across the back, a bit like a fishing trawler. Before I go back to the drawing board, what do you think?
Here is a photo of my Ark. If you look in the background you will notice a very shy Zebra.
Later, I managed to persuade him to come out and say hi.
Here he is, unfortunately on his own. Although after this week I hope to have a mate for him.
He cannot get one the Ark otherwise.
Off to find the Giraffes now... and to rebuild the Ark.
more to share with you next week.
Warmly Lenna

I'm with B on this one. Definately needs more depth at the back.
Love the animals - you are such a talent!

I just love your idea, but I think that the ark has the front and back the same. I was just wondering where you got the pattern for the animals. I love Noah's ark and would love to make these animals as well.
I cannot take too much credit for the animals.
I have adapted the animals from a book which I will be
selling with the project.I have just adapted them to make them much smaller. I will be adding my own patterns for Noah, his wife and of
course the Ark.Looking forward to sharing more with you soon including the book and patterns.

Really cute animals and a lovely idea!

Not too hard to imagine this little ark overflowing with critters and delighting children of all ages. Keep up the splendid work Mrs Noah.
Hola Lena, es verdad que el frente y la espalda del arca deben ser iguales pero no creo que esto deba representar un gran problema. Los animales son muy graciosos. QuedarĂ¡ muy bonito. Feliz semana.
